The Cashiers Historical Society proudly announces the 27th annual Cashiers Designer Showhouse, set to take place from August 23 to August 31, 2024. This cherished event draws thousands to Cashiers each year, boosting the local economy and providing essential funds for the Cashiers Historical Society (CHS).

About the Showhouse:

Nestled in the heart of Cashiers, this year’s Showhouse is a picturesque 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath farmhouse on 7 beautifully landscaped acres. With creeks, scenic walking trails, and proximity to town, this mountain-style home epitomizes modern mountain living. Features include a partially screened wrap-around porch, a private guest suite above the garage, a separate studio/game room with a bar, and stunning outdoor spaces perfect for entertaining.

Special Features:

  • Opening Night Party: Kick off the festivities on August 22 with an exclusive event at The Country Club of Sapphire Valley. Tickets are available through Benefactor and Corporate Sponsorships.
  • Designer Transformations: Fifteen talented designers will showcase their creativity, offering diverse lifestyle options amidst level land with hidden trails, a gazebo, a firepit, and play areas.
  • Vendor Market: Explore a variety of vendors at The Village Green, offering lifestyle items from apparel and antiques to home decor.

Support the Cause:

Funds raised from the Showhouse support CHS’s mission to preserve the history and culture of the Cashiers Valley through education, stewardship, and advocacy. In 2023, CHS welcomed thousands of visitors and engaged local students through educational events, strengthening community ties.

Tickets and Sponsorship:

Tickets for the Opening Night Party and the Showhouse are expected to sell out. Corporate Sponsorship Packages are available now, and Benefactor Packages for individuals will be available in June.

The event is recommended for experienced boaters only due to the challenging nature of the rapids and the high flows.

Duke Energy releases these flows to comply with license requirements and neither encourages nor discourages recreational use of high flows by the public.

Visitors are advised to stay out of the water and enjoy the spectacle from a safe distance.
